We all know that if I want to say something about an individual. The need to defend our products from another dealers accusations are childish and we rather not have to deal with it. A few of them flatter themselves by believing we care what they do. I don't talk about other dealers unless we need to answer something said about us that is not the truth.I don't care what other dealers do. the US Distributor behind them now is excellent and I have 100% faith in warranty service, parts and even after market parts such as handles and such in the future.īig Jay, Wahoo. you would be foolish to pay double for a reel. The Ocean Max is a dam good reel and the price is very fair! Until somebody can PROVE otherwise. These reviews are from the same guys who many of you follow and trust, so I guess its time to decide who is feeding you the BS. There are many reviews online regarding Ocean Max & "that other reel". find out what makes it different and please let me know. If your still drinking the punch, then go ahead and pay double for the same thing. My reel is not better than the Maxel Reel in another case ( but we can get you the rod to match it, ) Dave can sell you the same reel that I can. I have sent a few of you to Dave at The Reel Seat, for colors & sizes we didn't have recently. :huh: These reels are NOT the same as The M&W version. and its very simple: SHOW ME WHY & HOW!!! I am giving you the stage to educate us. I had people walking up to me today showing me a post, suggesting Maxel's are a " cheap knock off".
